Old Shortcuts and Icons
In some cases you may have old shortcuts or icons from a previous version left on your Desktop. These old shortcuts might still call up the previous version of your EMissFire Detector instead of the new version. The upgrade installation will try to remove those old shortcuts for you but it might not get them all. The first time you run the software after installing the new version check the version with Ctrl-A. It should say "EMissFireDetector Version 1.04, Released 03-08-2011". If it doesn't, you used an old shortcut to start the program. Close the program, delete the old shortcut then use the new shortcut.

This new version will come up asking for a passcode as if it were a new installation. Please call Tech Support at 800-572-6112 to get a new passcode.
