Step-by-step Instructions for Copying Your Old EMissFire Files
Open Windows Explorer by right-clicking the Start Menu and choosing "Explore" or "Open Windows Explorer". Navigate to c:\Program Files\EMissFireDetector\ (or c:\Program Files (x86)... if you have Windows 64-bit.) Arrange this Explorer window to the top half of your screen.
Open a second Windows Explorer and navigate to the new install location at c:\Automotive Test Solutions\EMissFireDetector\. Arrange this Explorer window to the bottom half of your screen.
You should now be able to see both the old install location in the top Explorer window and the new install location in the bottom Explorer window.
In the top window, highlight all the files in the Data folder by clicking any one file then pressing Ctrl-A on your keyboard. Now right-click the group and choose "Copy".
Go back to the bottom window and navigate to the EMissFireDetector\Data folder. Right-click in the Data folder and choose "Paste". All your data files should now copy into the new location. (They will still be in the old location as well just in case something went wrong.)
Go back to the top window and do the same thing in the "ScreenJPEGs" folder, highlight them all then right-click and choose "Copy".
Go to the bottom window and navigate to the "ScreenJPEGs" folder. Right-click the ScreenJPEGs folder then choose "Paste". All your data files should now copy into the new location. (They will still be in the old location as well just in case something went wrong.)
Go back to the top window and look for any more data files that you might have saved to a different location other than "Data" or "ScreenJPEGs". If you find any copy them over to the same location in the new install location.
That's it! All your data files are now in the new location where the software can easily find them.
